OBJECTIVES
To introduce schoolchildren to the natural environment: animals, plants and geological elements such as streams, which are very important for our survival. The schools were given as many possibilities as necessary to be able to carry out different activities close to the villages so as not to use vehicles.DEVELOPMENT
The magazines “Balears i la mar” (The Balearic Islands and the sea), “Endemismes de les Illes Balears” (Endemics of the Balearic Islands), “Plantes de garriga” and “Els Torrents de Mallorca” were distributed to the schools of Es Raiguer, Mancomunitat des Pla and Mancomunitat de Llevant, as well as posters from the same magazines to be displayed in the schools. Outings were made to different torrents: Binicaubell, Sant Miquel, Almedrà and Biniamar. We also visited sea spots such as Son Serra de Marina, garriga areas such as Comuna de Bunyola and Bànyols. To see endemic species, outings were made to the Commune of Biniamar and Puig de Massanella.
